LV series by Rocio Romero

If you live in the Seattle area and are looking for a home (or for you lucky few a 2nd home) and modern is your thing, then feast your eyes on this fab prefab LV series home by Rocio Romero. Located on 11+ acres of lovely wooded land just south of one of my favorite little towns on the Island, Langley(it's where we got married).
I found the LV series prefab home here while "searching" for a place for my parents, although modern is not there thing I had to flip through the pics of both homes and day dream about packing up the car, kids and pup to go visit abui & buelo's "modern cabin" in the big woods ; )

'In the Wilds' by Nigel Peake

This lovely book of drawings by Nigel Peake is sure to make my "must have" book list. 'In the Wilds' is a collection of hand-drawn observations from his daily life in the countryside of Northern Ireland. Tomorrow we are heading out camping to one of my favorite places in the world, Lake Crescent. The water is deep and cold but the views will take your breath away. I can't wait to lay out on the lake and take in the sun (yes I said sun) and go for a hike. We're heading out there with some good friends so it should make for a whole lotta fun.

Pine Forest Cabin

Elevated high above the Methow Valley sits a small cabin with big design. Balance Associates Architects' feels that no matter what the budget, you can achieve an architecturally interesting solution and not sacrifice on the quality or aesthetics of the project.
This little box in the woods makes me want to "camp" out for a week or two and just enjoy the lovely scenery and those plywood walls (swoon).
