on another Halloween note... have you heard of being "ghosted"? well we were "ghosted" last week by a very sneaky little ghost, they left two bags of sweets & treats for my young ones along with a note telling us that we must "ghost" two more families. we ended up ghosting 3 ; ) it was so much fun sneaking up to friends homes and knocking on doors in the dark hoping not to be discovered, knowing someone would soon be enjoying their treats like we had the night before. if you haven't heard of it or done it...... you really should!

Happy Halloween!

Flow Takashi Satoh
Architecture firm Flow Takashi Satoh in Japan designs simple open homes with big visual impact. Here are two of my favorites, because they flow into the outdoors so easily. and what about that masonite room?! i love masonite as a cheap beautiful design material. hmmm, it could also be cork, either way it's pretty stunning.

i found the fabulous jacket above, it was love at first sight but sadly our love affair was short lived after i saw the price. but i managed to find a vintage Nordstroms gray wool cashmere blend for $9.99! it's not as fab but for that price i can't complain(i also found a black motocross jacket!).
now i'm looking for some rockin' oxfords to complete my Fall wardrobe, maybe one of these below...
the trouser oxford in pewter by steve madden?
or these lovelies from lambs ear shoes....
here are a few more fab Fall coats i wouldn't mind wearing and one that i do...

stone creek camp
Andersson-Wise designed this remote Montana Camp that rest high above a lake. You enter at the gatehouse that sits at the top of the hill then a path leads you to the master house, main lodge and guesthouse. I would love to see the cut wood wall in person, simply beautiful.
